HAH! And to think, I even quoted Bugs Bunny today at my English Comp teacher.

Context? We were discussing how he'd argue for other people's civil rights until he was blue in the face, but African-Americans? (He's a naturalized citizen who hails from Kenya.) He said that it just gets way too personal for him to argue properly.

And so, being the wisecracking gadfly I am, I go, "It's just as Bugs Bunny would say, 'Of course, this, you know, means war.'"

As usual, though somewhat miffed, he had to give me that one - it was just so terribly apt!
