Just watch this, and see if it feels as disturbingly ... artifical? crafted? counterfeit? ... to you as it does to me. Apparently the main audience is exactly the same as the height of the NKOTB craze, complete with high school girls slamming each other for not being "true" fans for not liking them before they became so popular. Close your eyes for a bit to just listen to the words, and the boy-band roots show. Actually look at the band past their makeup and leather, even more so.
At least they do seem to also be at least halfway competent musicians. It takes some real skill and effort to turn out that kind of sound.
