The author is very good at capturing the thought processes of the main canon characters, but the OC's and background characters brought to the foreground seem a little flat. Despite these weaknesses, it's shaping up to be a worthy read.

Which would be a deeply inexplicable thing for them to do. Then again his plan is lock himself and Naruto in a closet and hit the pause button on reality... hoping no one notices. This is Sasuke, a guy who after listening to a guy he met an hour ago... and hearing the guy explain notTobi is made of evil awesome sauce and lies... he utterly changes life goals on a dime. In other words its dumb enough a decision to be in character.

As for Time Braid... Sasuke has never really struck me as the sharpest (or mentally stable) tool in the shed anyhow. That and Sakura probably knows more about his Sharingan than even he knows. He probably just shot himself in the foot by telling her never to discuss it again. And to top it all off he's probably also playing right into the demons hands by removing Naruto from the picture, because only that one has had the chance to develop into a credible threat to their agenda. All other Narutos from the other timelines, while possessing the heavenly mandate, lack the punch time-looping Naruto has. Worse, doing this only removes the Kyuubi from only one timeline, so his agenda amounts to a fat wad of nothing.
