Intrigued by his description of the story, I downloaded it to my Kindle. It just came up in my queue this past week, and I just finished it half an hour ago; noting it was an unfinished story (as K Sai mentioned), I went back to FF.Net to see if it's been updated since -- only to find that the author has changed his name to "Deleted92" and removed all his stories. I am deeply frustrated by this because it was a damned good story, and as of the last chapter I had the author was clearly still having fun, reveling in having over 1500 reviews, and showed no signs of suddenly vanishing from the fic scene. Grrr. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak.
Yeah, pity that. This is hearsay, but it seems the author got a few bad reviews about his treatment of Snape, threw a hissy fit and took his ball home.
Delicate egos does seem to be a bit of an issue with some authors. A pity though.
