Penguin Highway
Penguin Highway

Epsilon got me to go see Penguin Highway today. (It's playing in Ottawa all weekend.) It was a good movie, and slightly surreal in places.

The movie opens with penguins in a field. In Japan.

Our Hero is in 4th grade, and is the son of a scientist. When he tries to solve the mystery of "why were there penguins in a field in Japan?", things become downright odd.

I suppose I could spoil the movie for folks, ... but, no, this is a movie you should go see before learning anything about the plot.

There's one translator-induced error in it, though:
But if you listen to the original voices, you can eventually ignore that.

Go see the movie if you can.

Somebody wanted to make the field better, I'm guessing.

(laughs) Well, you could say that. Go see the movie and find out.

My guess is Wapiko is behind the whole thing.
