I checked Fox News. They're spinning it like Captain Crozier violated OPSEC somehow.

I seriously doubt that since 1) any intelligence agent worth their salt could tell from simple observation that the TR was under quarantine, and 2) I'm pretty sure that every Tom, Dick, and Harry on Guam was aware of this situation as a simple matter of public safety.

And even if he did, so what? The man had a responsibility to his crew and his uniform. He followed it. His Commander in chief proceeded to fail him and his men.

Kinda with MD on this. The admiralties actions here in censuring the man for DOING WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO...

Well, its called prejudicial to good order and discipline.
Hear that thunder rolling till it seems to rock the sky?

Frankly they could've removed Captain Crozier without the Navy Secretary trashing him too. It would've looked bad no matter what, but that didn't really help.

A much more sensible way to resolve it that would still make clear the rebuke without pissing the navy and crew off too much would've been to relieve him of command and then wait for him at the pier with his new orders. Because, you know, there's a quarantine facility at Guam that needs construction and administration and the captain both seems to be a good fit to lead that facility and has just become available for a new command.

Not a video, but explicitly political, thought this might be better place than the images thread

Let's be fair - New York City has a large population.

As of 5pm April 9, NYC had 4778 COVID-19-related deaths, or 569 per million people.

As of 5pm April 9, Ottawa had 9 COVID-19-related deaths, or 9 per million people.

...

Yeah, you're right.

And looking at the #2 and 3 nations on the 'most cases' list

Spain: 331 deaths/million people as of Apr 9th at 10:30pm
Italy: 302 deaths/million people as of Apr 9th at 10:30pm

I know this has been on the minds of some people, and considering the shenanigans the GOP has gotten into in order to ensure their stay in power...

LegalEagle reviews whether the POTUS can indeed cancel the election.

Ya know, it's particularly telling whenever Trumo's darlings start to cry foul on his claims that he should have been removed from office in the impeachment hearing.

Can Trump, China, or Fox News be sued for their disinformation or mismanagement of the pandemic?

From the comments:

Quote:"Who can we sue?" I really can't think of a more American question to ask after something goes wrong, lol
