A description of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy entry on "The Doctor". Best read as if being spoken by Peter Jones in his role as The Book.
(Apologies if this has previously been recommended; I'm well, well behind on these threads, but this was too good not to mention.)

The 2nd chapter is golden and available on Space Battles, if you have a spare sacrifice for the deity of your choice to beat the lag. The emotion in the chapter reaches in and grabs hold of you. I ended up reading it twice in a row it was so good.

Strap in, 'cause this is going to be a long one...
Okay, remember a while ago, when I recommended a set of Gundam stories? Well, it seems the author had a bit of a writer's block when it came to finishing the trilogy. So, she decided to restart the whole thing again. But, she released a ending of sorts to the old series: Divinity Saga-Afterword. Warning: It's kinda dark and depressing, with an (offscreen) body count worthy of Zeta or Victory.
As for the newer series, it's here: Mobile Suit Gundam Trinity.
Another pair of stories of hers that I'm recommending: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: The White Queen. Put Kira in a Astray variant, an undercover Lacus in the Strike, and add Lacus's (OC) sister as a ZAFT commander, with a guest appearance from one of Solid Shark's characters. Hilarity ensues.
The other one...is a Naruto story. Naruto: A New Path. Team 7: consisting of Naruto, Sakura...and Hinata. Oh dear...
And finally, not related to any of the above stories, we have Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: FREEDOM. Think of it as SEED strained through the filter of Cracked. Hilariously funny.

A Naruto story: Leftovers. Naruto's late graduation results in a number of Genin not divisable by three. He ends up as Kurenai's only student. I find it very funny but be warned that it becomes increasingly cracky and NSFW as it progresses. I think the author keeps trying to top him/herself with each chapter.

Jaune Arc: Hero of Vytal ( FFNet link, SB thread)
Being from a family of heroes, Jaune had long ago realized that heroism wasn't all it was cracked up to be. It was just plain sense to take a safer course in life. Unfortunately, nobody bothered to tell him that the world just didn't make sense. Inspired by the Ciaphas Cain series of Warhammer 40K.

It's a properly-structured TTH link, and it takes me right to the series page. Don't know why it's not working fo ryou, NifT.

For a minute there, I thought it might have just been a browser issue. When my pointer was over the link, the link address matched what was in my address bar (which could be several similar but different things, depending on how you get to the page the post is on). Started checking other links, and it was just the one.

No Need for Halkeginian "Logic"
Genre: Humor
Summary: Everyone their a own personality in mind for their Dragonborn in mind when playing Skyrim. However, while those personalities may be many, the actions we all take tend to be similar.
Whether heroic or villainous, the Dragonborn is a guy who steals when he can get away with it, helps out daedric lords of domination just cause, robs the tombs of the honored dead, and then proceeds to play tag with children and help out his local temple of the goddess of love.
This is a story of that strange, strange guy being summoned by Louise and their hilarious journey that follows.

Started out as (and mostly remains really) snippets in a Spacebattles thread. Highly amusing and worth a read though.

It's amazing what you can pick up sometimes in TvTropes.
Gallifrey Stands, the sort of funny/awesome fic that could only come from the Whoniverse. Note: Spoilers for current end of season.

Don't know if I'd classify this one as a crackfic, but it is funny. And a one-shot, BTW.

True, true. Had to go to Wikipedia to remember who Mr. Peabody actually was!

I also recomend a longer story by the same author: The Serpent Incident. Dr Who meets G.I. Joe.

Jeconais came out with an interesting two-part story about what might have happened had everyone in Hogwarts turned against Harry in the Triwizard Tournament:

There's also a first draft version of that story as well:

Biting the Hand that Feeds You, HP crackfic by (mostly) AJTalon.
When the Fudge Ministry cracks down on trade with Muggles, trying to lock the British Wizarding Economy away from them, various parties respond in many interesting ways.
Pansy Parkinson runs away from home.
Susan Bones and Hannah Abbot take up Potter-Stalking.
The Weasleys expand their garden.
And Severus Snape, deciding to make a bit of Muggleside cash, turns his prodigious potions practice to the preparation of the platonic ideal of the potato crisp.

Core Threads - HP
MageSight!, Powerful! Prodigy!and Occlumency! Harry. Eventual OneBigHappyDursleyFamily! YMMV, but it also has the first decent explanation of Dursley behaviour I've seen that does not add up to 'Albus is an ass'.
Also good humor. Example:
Quote:Harry was frowning at his matchstick. It was really hard getting ENOUGH magic to leave the wand, as it felt like he was trying to paint a house with a toothbrush. It took really odd hand motions to coat the whole thing.
Finally he just reached down and wrapped it with a rope. 'BECOME A NEEDLE, you matchstick son of a...' Oh. Well, that was straight forward.
He looked up to see an astonished teacher, Hermione with her face in her hands, and Padma poking at her matchstick like it was about to eat her. "Oh... I found out I wasn't covering it with enough magic, so I just stopped using the wand. Wand makes it harder. Too precise."
Man he was bad at explaining stuff. Now she was looking at him like he was a fire breathing turtle.
Classes were hard.
