Harry Potter does indeed have a power the Dark Lord knows not, and it's a bit more weaponizable than Love. Beware of an abrupt scene shift here and there where horizontal rule tags didn't survive FFn's filters, though most are intact - it's a quick sketch of a few short scenes in about a thousand words, but we've all seen one circuit after another past the stations of canon so that's enough to give the shape of things without belaboring the point.
ETA: Another oneshot from Andrew J Talon, which has begun to accumulate further omake/rond-robin contributions as many of his supposed one-shots do. As Prince of all Saiyajin (and considering the mental qualifications of the only other surviving one,) Vegita must take it on himself to make sure young (rule 63'd) Gohan has appropriate and acceptable standards when it comes to the type of males she'll allow to court her. Piccolo is amused and Goku is cheerfully oblivious, as always.

Oh, dear god, that was awful, in the best possible way. Seconding the recommendation.

Daddy's Girl.
In which Taylor goes looking for her Daddy. And finds him. Again and again and again...
Creepiest Wormfic I've seen yet. And I say that about a girl whose canonical power is to control bugs.

It's creepier than Handshake Taylor, and that's saying quite a bit.

Resonance is one of the more recent Worm fics to appear on SB, featuring a Taylor who triggers with sound powers instead of bugs. Well, sort of, it's more like she's a sound-powered trump... Best to just read it, rather than have me try to explain. Updates are flying fast and furious with this one, and they're long and high-quality too!

Change of Fate by Vathara has been posted (all 10 chapters and is complete) Star Wars / Sword Art Online crossover set in a SWTOR game setting on Corellia.
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/10365222/1/Change-of-Fate
Totally awesome. Captures a bit of the flavour from the unfinished Shadows Under Starlight crossover previously written.

Totally Awesome is an understatement and I'm only on the first chapter. I can see where this going and I'm wondering why no one ever thought of this before. It makes so much SENSE!
And because all posts should have a good new rec:
Here is a LOTR WIP fic that is promising to be epic (as well as ROFL) and asks the question; what would have the stories been like if Hobbits in general - and Bilbo Baggins in specific - had taken a level in BAD ASS, hobbit style (all completely lore compliant so far - and with a very tolkienesque story voice). The butterfly - Bilbo (on one of his wanderings) meets and is spiritually adopted by Goldberry and Tom Bombadil a decade or so before the start of 'The Hobbit' - resulting in a very different Bilbo indeed...

Oh, very fun and amusing, but there are a bit too many anachronistic turns of phrase for my liking -- like Thorin Oakenshield wondering if he should "get the hell out of dodge". I find it very hard to believe that Thorin would think in phrases that came from the American Old West...

Perhaps not the most literal of translations out of the original dwarven, but I'm willing to leave it be for the sake of localization.

Interesting crossover, John Constantine gets involved with the Holy Grail War: The Laughing Master.

No, I don't believe the world has gone mad. In order for it to go mad it would need to have been sane at some point.

Eh, pretty much a given when John Constantine is involved - lucky people never meet him, and the ones who are just out of luck die. The unlucky ones... you don't want to be unlucky around John.

Assumptions And The Word All is a very nice treatment of a bit of fridge logic from the BtVS series finale, which merits an 8/10 on my scale of 1-9. It's short enough that I can't really give any quotes or summaries without giving the game away, though.
(I would have made a verbatim The Critic reference and called it "my scale of 2-9" but Judge Brainitite and Like Squid For Enema exist.)

Looks like ShaperV's writing again. Four chapters posted in a little over two weeks, last update yesterday afternoon.
Original fiction, "ordinary fellow granted magical powers and dropped into a dangerous world" scenario, set in the opening days of Ragnarok. So far, just as good as you'd expect from ShaperV.
For those of You who like well written and very In Character Vorkosigan and Honor-verse stories, I Highly recommend this author:

They also have some fic set in another verse, that I don't recognise
So I've been binge reading space battles forums. I want an account so I can keep track of things... =/

I just took a look, and it appears to be fic about Tamora Pierce's Tortall books.

I don't think this has been recced before, and I mean to rectify that.
I hereby recommend the HP fic Seventh Horcrux.
Quote:Summary: The presence of a foreign soul may have unexpected side effects on a growing child. I am Lord Volde...Harry Potter. I'm Harry Potter.
This fic is insanely funny, and you all should be sure to read it, as soon as possible, if you haven't already.

Quote:I fear that Hermione may be the most evil of us all. That is concerning since I am a retired Dark Lord.

It's called Fine Structure.
Science fiction with an emphasis on SCIENCE. I'd even go so far as to call it physics fiction.
It's a long read, but fantastic.
