Public Service Announcement: This weekend is when Daylight Savings Time begins, at least in most of North America.
But there's one clock you shouldn't move forward:

I wouldn't mind.
Flash and a bang and gone.
I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.
One day they're going to ban them.

Heh, that's practically an entire subgenre of Cold War fiction, be it serious or black humor.

Not just one -- three, in Red Bank, Toms River, and at Rutgers-Newark. They don't do breakfast, and the hours are a bit different for each one. Their menus are simple: a couple appetizers, a half dozen entries, and a dessert, and they change based on the locally-sourced ingredients available (daily, IIRC). There's no formal price, although there is a suggested donation of US$20 per meal; you pay what you can afford, or you volunteer.
Back before the pandemic, Peg and I were talking about visiting the Toms River restaurant one of the times we went down to Seaside, which is only a few miles away, during the summer of 2020. Of course that never happened but if things start to go back to normal we may well try again this summer.
Here's their website.

There's a similar supper-only restaurant in Ottawa: Govinda's. Vegetarian only - they're part of the local Hare Krishna community - but from what I've been told by people who've eaten there, the meals are of good quality.
(If we're going to make a list of these restaurants, perhaps we should take it to a separate thread...)

Also for the day that's in it. At least on this side of the pond
