Wait, why does Baby get cigarette burns if she s/he cries too much? That sounds like the kind of problem that can't be solved with a fireproof suit, no matter how Space Age and atomic, unless it's being worn by an inspector from whatever proto-CPS organisations were about.

(And there were state level laws protecting children from abuse even in the mid 1600s, and a specific government organization in New York dated 1875 with various other states and major cities following haphazardly according to a quick google search, even if it took another hundred years for federal legislation.)

The thing I hate about the macros like the Texas German dialect and the skeleton in the trunk is that they're just enough to be interesting, but not nearly enough to be informative, and sometimes not 100% true as presented. However, there's usually enough data in them to find something with actual information through Google. For instance, Wikipedia has a page on Texas German, but unlike the image above, it notes that the dialect is only spoken by a number of elderly persons thanks to hostility to anything German during the world wars, and linguists are scrambling to preserve as much of it as possible before the last of them die. And the mystery of the skeleton was solved years ago.
