Swedish cartoon character Munchkin
Otherwise, just the usual 'walk in the woods with a pre-teen' sort
I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.

Anybody have any ideas what to do with 158 bowling balls that aren't round enough to bowl with?
Because this guy found that many of them under his house.

Austria declares war on Serbia
You sort of get the feeling they were itching for it since last month's assassination. This is probably going to turn into some sort of quick Puppy-kicking. Or will Russia actually try to help - or just capitulate again? They're probably still thinking about the bloody nose they got from Japan.

Yeah. I know. December 2020. But even so, this is the first I'm hearing about it. But I fucking called it the moment I heard they were chumming up with Funi. And I fucking called it on CR turning into a fucking dumpster fire once it happens.

So, Twitter had a "find the bug" contest. Now it has to fix the bugs that were found... but, for some reason, I doubt that these were the types of bugs that they were expecting.
Twitter's AI image-crop algo is biased towards people who look younger, skinnier, and whiter, bounty challenge at DEF CON reveals
Oh, it's also more likely to leave people in wheelchairs out of the picture
EDIT: And when it comes to cropping to show text, the AI has a bias toward English.

General consensus among the Irish twitteraity is people are getting the sense that Truck-Kun did what Judge-kun should've done a long time ago. Or more accurately, they did it to themselves by driving the wrong way down the road at high speed.

Meteorite crash-lands in woman’s bed in Canada
This is like, what, only the second time someone's had a meteorite hit their house? At least unlike the last time it didn't actually hit her.

Man breaking his back on 'commute' from bed to home-office desk deemed a workplace accident
Because it was his first commute of the day. If he had detoured to the kitchen to get breakfast, the court would have ruled the other way.
(If this holds in Canada, then I'll have to check the vaccination status of anybody who comes into my home workplace, as per federal regulations...)
