What do you do when you run out of potential jurors? Go to the mall and get some more.

Odd news because it's an odd acquisition for him.
And now the offer's on hold.

However, the offer was worded in such a way that Twitter might be able to get a court order to have Elon Musk buy them out.

The internet seems to have settled on two theories about Elon Musk.
1) It was a fun idea at first. After the market fell, he decided he didn't want to sell Tesla stock at a discount in order to buy Twitter at a premium. So he made up some stuff to break the contract.
2) He never planned to buy Twitter in the first place, but was just looking for a way to plausibly sell overpriced Tesla stock without crashing the value first. He made an offer never intending to keep it, but intending to pay the $1B breakup fee, which would be less than losing Tesla stock value back in April. So he made up some stuff to break the contract.
Either way everything he's saying now about bots is complete nonsense. Before he bought Twitter, one of the reasons he said he wanted it was so that he could come in and clean up all the bots. If the reason for breaking the contract is implausible, a billion dollars is going to be the minimum he's going to have to pay, and it could be much higher.

Isn't the a government agency that deals with this sort of shitehawk market manupulation?
I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.
One day they're going to ban them.

Oh yes, there is. The Securities and Exchange Commission probably has permanent staff allocated to investigate Musk. In previous days, they told him what he coudn't post on Twitter, but that oversight has sadly ended.

Which is probably what we're going to end up seeing...
Majority of Twitter shareholders accept Elon Musk's buyout offer.
The offer has been made and accepted. Now what?

It will probably be "you either buy Twitter as agreed, or you will pay enough you might as well have followed through and bought Twitter as agreed."
They can't necessarily absolutely force him to follow through, but they can make it very, very painful to not.

Ireland's Full Says French Embassy.
It's gotten so bad the foreign embassies are warning their people not to come here, because you won't be able to find a place to stay. Multinationals are stopping investments. Students won't come here. Foreign workers aren't coming here.

I hesitate to imagine what the Word of the Day will be on the December 15, 2022 episode of Sesame Street.
Why? Because that's the day that Samuel L. Jackson is scheduled to host the segment.

Why should we care? The techniques work just as well on Earth, and could lower the cost of food.

Woman has 50 batteries removed from her stomach
At least she wasn't charged when she left the hospital.

The Beatles couldn't do it.
Drake came close.
But it's only this week that the entire top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 list was filled by a single artist's songs.
