With the posting of the retconned introductory story, we are now officially out of the pre-retcon phase of this writing project.

As if the renaming and reorganizing of the forum wasn't a big enough clue.

We'll be posting more stories over the next few weeks. They might even be posted in reading order, if we're lucky... but we already know that that won't last forever. If you sort the "Stories" subforum by Thread, you should see the stories in reading order instead of in posting order.

And, since the plan is that we only post stories when they're complete, you can reply in the story threads - no more need for separate comment threads!

It probably won't last the first week - we have too many early stories still being written or re-written for this to be practical.

The chronologically-first of the spamfics went up today, along with a longer story that focuses on the Evangelion characters.

We have a bit over two dozen stories that we think are ready to post, including our existing spamfics. We aren't going to post them all at once; that wouldn't give folks time to read them all.

We should be presenting something to read every second day or thereabouts for another month and a bit.


Repeating myself: We welcome comments and criticism! Please post feedback on a story to the story thread.

Obviously, our plans changed. We're posting stories when they're ready, not on a schedule. This will help with the issue we had pre-retcon where one writer got ahead of the others.

Now, a bit of retcon progress news:

This doesn't mean that the story is ready to be posted, just that the material that we were asked to remove is now gone. (Everything that he had added to this particular story had a direct connection to his core plotline, so it all had to go.)

When we finally get to the point where we can post this story here, then the retcon work will be complete. But there's a Halloween Party story (which still has some content that we've been asked to remove), a Christmas Party story, and a skating story to post before we get to that point.

As of 3:14pm EST today, the wiki is now semi-public. Everybody should be able to see at least part of the writers' planning wiki now, including almost all of the character writeup pages. Find the spoilers that we didn't catch ahead of time!
