Story time, bro!

Reminds me of my favorite driving in the snow story - I was doing the two-ish hour drive from Beverly MA to my mother's house as a big storm rolled in, sometime around the turn of the century. I had a Camaro at that time, front engine rear wheel drive as sports cars were intended to be, notorious for being bad in the snow. I also had winter tires, being a New England boy in winter. So I'm going along and going along, and had stopped twice to clear snow out of the recessed headlights the 1992-97 body-style had and break the soggy clumps off the wipers where it stuck and froze because it was coming down too fast to blow away at the restricted speed available in the poor visibility, and was traveling at a cautious five car lengths behind a pickup with another as far behind me as we played "Am I still on the road?" guessing by the distance to the trees on either side and very scattered speed limit signs or reflectors (as one does). Then we come to a corner, and I see the fella ahead start sliding off to the side. There's not much I can do about that to help when he's already in a pickup and I'm in a Camaro, even one with a tow strap in the back and ball hitch to hook it onto, so I just stay very aware of how the tires feel and ready to manage a loss of grip myself.

Never happens, I proceed calmly around the corner.

Then the pickup behind me slides off the the side, right in the same spot, and ends up barely missing the first to land maybe four or five feet in front of him and two wheels down in the ditch.

The Camaro soldiered on.

I can only assume that they were counting on their four wheel drive to save them, and instead the differential in force being applied fore and aft was what threw them off, though it might just have been that my Camaro was magic. That was the same trip I went up a thousand feet of steep hill sideways and looking out the passenger side window to see ahead because the rear wheels were spinning madly but I'd gotten the front cut all the way over and straddled the crown of the road so as not to slide off to one side, so the rears would scrub away the snow far enough to contact the tar and get traction while the fronts shoved against the the snow piling up against them to hold position that way. Amazing car, would be about #5 on a list of wishes to still have it in perpetually perfect condition.

That's Grandpa Munster rather than Dracula, I'm pretty sure. The specific costume and square shape of the face (and of the hair streaks and eyebrows) is pretty distinctive, where Count Dracul is supposed to have aristocratic features. That doesn't mean it wasn't sold as a Dracula set of course, because he's public domain and Munsters is trademarked.

Incidentally, if you're going to study meteorology, please memorize all of the states/provinces in your country/area before you take a weather forecasting class.  I had students who couldn't get the name of a state from a satellite image with outline overlay (like above) after three guesses.

No, that's Labster's own completion of the image. explainxkcd is leaning toward portmanteau names for the extra fourteen states, based on which actual states they border. (Although I still think the extra one near Maine should be called Secondary.)
