There’s a spectrum to this, ranging from annoyances to foes to serious threats. Then there’s the final tier, the ones who are singularly dedicated to personal pain and destruction. All part of superhero life, and Hermione’s overdue to officially get her own.

A pause in the action, between a daily patrol and a holiday she’s never celebrated properly, allows Hermione to think about her life. How she’s gotten here, where she is, where they are. Where they could be going now that they’re serious. Perhaps a few work-related guidelines are needed for this stage as well. Subjects to ruminate over, ideally with Wally. After all, couples should do things together.
