Possible 3D resources thread #2
RE: Possible 3D resources thread #2
They're doing a "new to Daz store" promotion this week, with different people known for good products now selling their designs at the Daz store (either as well as or instead of selling them elsewhere). Today's "new to Daz store" artist does a lot of evening wear, so my wishlist is filling up and I bought a few today: dForce Galla Gown for G8F & G8.1F, dForce Elegant Evening G8F & G8.1F, and Little Black Scoop G3F G8F.

Imagine my disappointment when I realized the crowbar didn't come with it.

No worries; I've already got one.

Imagine my disappointment when the tool pack includes a fire axe but no Halligan tool. If it's going to have a fire axe, it should include a Halligan tool.

Y'know, I've always called that a "hooligan tool", for obvious reasons. Wikipedia says I'm not wrong... Smile

Anyway. Changing gears.

I don't know whether any of our bands will ever need a Mobile Stage Trailer, but, if not, it can be stripped down to just a flatbed trailer. And Daz3D has seen fit to buy all rights to the model outright and sell copies of it to club members for $5.

To make music on a mobile, yeah

Oh, look what's on sale for 8 hours! Not an outfit, but a morph that applies to all outfits to get rid of that "cling to the breasts" issue!

Guess I have to install the software on the new laptop and re-render Garnett's illo...

Daz had a buy-one-get-one-free sale today. The "buy one" was nothing special, but the list of possible freebies included "Breakfast Date Outfit".

So now we need somebody with elegance and big eyebrows to wear it to that jewellery store on Fifth Avenue. Oh, Mugi-chan...

I think I can find a use or two for this new set.

After all, even Nao Okuda likes places like this... and not just for the maracas.

Don't know whether we can use a brutalist cloister anywhere, but they were willing to sell me this one for $2, so why not?

Our next new residence? Smile Needs a wash/bathroom and a common room with a kitchen, though. On the other hand, it's free to Daz+ club members this month.

Sure, why not... If they're willing to sell me what's essentially Kozue's hairdo for $2.80 in one of their three-hours-only sales, I'll take it.

Sure, I'll have a free scene. I just want to know where in New York it's supposed to be set.
XI New York Stairs

This one's half-price today. I could see either Kohran or Shampoo wearing it...

Huh. "New York"? There aren't many places in NYC where you could put a staircase like that... Upper West Side near the GWB, maybe?

<checks Google Maps> Oh, never mind. They're not in Manhattan, they're in the Bronx. The "Shakespeare Stairs", better known these days as the Joker Stairs.

I was thinking that those stairs would look more appropriate in SF than in NYC... if not for the brick buildings.

Ia! Ia! With sales, discounts, and coupons, I could get this famous Old One for $2.64... so I did. Good thing he's in the Public Domain now, but is he in Refuge?

New-to-store outfit today. I think I can find a use for an early-'90s-seifuku style school uniform... Smile

Yeah, I can find a use for this... especially if Sakura Kinomoto gets some lessons from Ami Mizuno.
