effect: Doug holds a planned action in mind while the song plays. If it's something that can be completed within the remaining duration of the song, he'll know the exact moment to perform it to get maximized results from his point of view, or to at least avoid wrost-case results if time is more pressing. If it's something longer term, at the end of the song he'll have a feel for whether the plan in its current form would have a good or bad result, again from his point of view. Other probability manipulation effects not originating from Doug (his chaos field or song powers, and only song powers in the plan) are not accounted for, but will also have unpredictable results when used against him to try to affect the intended action or plan, even more than usual when trying to deal with Doug.
(Also, it's just a good song, and its generally non-disruptive effect means he can just listen to it for the sake of it if he wants to, and make some really good sandwiches or something.)
