How did this happen? DarkMatterMan4500 without membership in Automoderated created a brand new page in the Main namespace which just happened to be a complete cut'n'paste from TVT, with pretty much no effort at a conversion to MediaWiki markup. It wasn't sent to the mod queue.

I have deleted the page and I'm about to drop him a note, but what the hell happened here?

I haven't yet; I noticed something. As it turns out, DarkMatterMan4500 has been a member of the wiki since before the Moderation system (by a few months); he just was never grandfathered in. I wonder if that's why the Mod system isn't intercepting him, whether that's the way it should work or not. Anyway, I gave him temporary (24-hour) autopatrolled and automoderated. I'll let it expire and see if his edits go to the Mod Queue afterwards. If not, something bigger is wrong; otherwise, it's a less significant problem.

Regardless, once the experiment is over, I'll will grant those rights permanently as a belated grandfathering.

I’m not sure if we do checkusers off of gut feelings, but the posting style/interests of LNZOTTVK reminds me a bit of HLIAA14YOG. That said, I’m not very confident in this observation - It feels more likely to be them than a typical new user, but I’m not dead sure of it, or even 50/50 sure of it, if that makes sense.

It's him, just sent you the proof via PM. I'll deal with this myself.

And done:

Wow, the Lint Error estimates are off. As of this posting:

"Missing end tag" estimate: 11,609
"Missing end tag" actual: 3,179
