So... it looks like Viz is doing more than the one short-short I shared in the Trailers thread...

So I decided to start a RWBY-specific thread to hold them until we get the first V10 stuff.

So... it looks to me that Lindsay Jones took advantage of the downtime and lost a lot of weight. I didn't recognize her at first.

Yeah, they've had a collection of little promotional shorts with the VAs, which honestly, they didn't need to do. Most people assumed it'd be a while before there was any solid news on Volume 10, given that Viz either needs to find a studio to make it, or create one of their own. Seeing things like this is a sign they're eager to continue, not just re-release older volumes, ice queendom and such.

Well, given that Rooster Teeth itself has undergone a resurrection of sorts, we just might see RWBY coming home, so to speak. The first question to come to my mind in that case is how fast they can rebuild the studio to the point that they can take it back on -- and whether Warner Bros sold off all their computers and other resources, or if they got mothballed and might be bought back by the new RT.
EDIT: Then again, with all the reputational damage RT suffered there at the end, Viz just might not want to approach the new version.
