I post the first image here because it is a picture of politicians, not because the content is political.  The original caption was simply: Syria’s new Chargé d’Affairs in Washington D.C., Mohammad Qanatari, meeting with U.S. special envoy Tom Barrack.

Aw, too bad.  Granted I could see someone sneaking into the Country Club after hours to vandalize the statue, but it would be much more difficult.  Besides, the satue is in Florida, right?  I'd guess there's less Dems and/or Leftists down there (proportionally that is)
