The Volcano that Asuka dived into is erupting today.

Angelwatch team, activate!

Edit: Wait, wait. I thought that was supposed to be a volcano in Hawaii. I am now confused.

It's Japan. Hot springs, beaches, and active volcanos all go hand-in-hand here. At least, in some areas.

Well, thats why Geologists call that particular tectonic interface "the Ring of Fire"...
Hear that thunder rolling till it seems to split the sky?

I figured out why I was confused. Neon Exodus Evangelion used a Hawaiian volcano, and my recall pulled up the wrong story.

Tokyo is the Center of the Universe, remember?

I never got that far in NXE (just the first season), but I do recall that it relocated NERV to "Worcester-3." Why Worcester of all places
would've been rebuilt twice is beyond me, though, was that ever explained?

IF it's written by EPU at that point in time... it starts in Worcester.

No, seriously, how'd they explain NERV setting up camp there? UF, I guess it makes sense once you concede that that was where the Wedge Rats were all
directed to. Or that that's where q was, and therefore CLULESS...stupid Timey Wimey Ball that I never managed to figure out.

You're mixing up the 'verses. NXE isn't in the UF 'verse, it's separate. Why Worcester? Never explained.

this is a prime example of Gryphon's Law.

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant that it more or less made sense in the UF-verse, but not in the NXE-verse as far as I could tell. Not even a
handwave like the canon's Black Egg? *shakes head*

This is the problem with the Rule of Cool -- it's always very dependent on the writer's sense of "cool."

I don't frequent Eyrie's boards... what pray tell is Gryphon's Law? "I do it because I CAN?"

It originally was Belasarius' Law, from Donald Belasarius, the television producer who made "Quantum Leap." His original quote, when confronted
by people deconstructing his shows, was, "It's just a television show; try not to think too much about it."
