		Some stylesheet weirdness+loading problems

		10-10-2011, 05:55 AM

All day today, the forum has only been loading the stylesheets sporadically.  If I refresh, it has about a 50% chance of loading correctly, so I'm usually good after a few refreshes.  I occasionally also get blank pages, which load correctly-ish upon refreshing, and twice I've received this message on the otherwise blank page:   Quote:Warning: mysql_connect(): Host 'f1-30' is not allowed to connect to thisMySQL server in /var/www/html/modules/dbm/dbm.mod on line 101

Warning: mysql_connect(): Host 'f1-30' is not allowed to connect to this

Warning: mysql_connect(): Host 'f1-30' is not allowed to connect to this

Warning: mysql_connect(): Host 'f1-30' is not allowed to connect to this

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link

Fatal error: Could not connect to DB:account a1-5 account_reader in

Thought I should let you know about this.

I am also getting blank pages (with the ever helpful "internal server error" message).
I have yet to see any mysql error messages though.

I've been getting gateway errors all weekend, plus this morning Chrome is reporting "service errors" about half the time I try to get to a page. This is no doubt because, as I noted some three-four weeks ago, http://drunkardswalkforums.yuku.com/top ... e-go-again]Yuku has been acquired by another company . We're probably seeing the first side effects of that acquisition.

Just thought I'd chime in too.  Yesterday all day I was getting the blank page problem (reloading solved it every time, but only for that page); today I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error on every request, and reloading only works about 50% of the time.

About one in every three pages I try to load come up blank. I've taken to opening everything in new tabs, as going back/reloading isn't quite as quick and convenient as just closing the tab and reloading it. Getting the forums to work is going to be a fun game, it looks.---

Only about 30% or so of my page loads get through, no error pages though, just blank ones. Page loads are in the 1-2 minute ranges though.E: "Did they... did they just endorse the combination of the JSDF and US Army by showing them as two lesbian lolicons moving in together and holding hands and talking about how 'intimate' they were?"

At least you were able to post today...
I've been getting blank pages (not even a 500 error) whenever I surf to any page all day. Making new posts was either impossible or duplicated.

This is a pretty miserable way to run a webforum, and I speak as somebody who's given them money.

I've noticed (how could I not notice?) that the login/status/logout bar that used to be a single line across the top of the window is now a dozen lines. Is anyone else seeing that as well?--

I've noticed that it's collapsible, and that if you expand it (with the Navigation button) it can get to be a size about what you're describing. Dunno if that's what you're describing, though...-- Bob

The Navigation button has done that as well in my past experience, but I've noticed in the last day that it doesn't seem to do anything any more for me, regardless of what browser I'm using or location I'm at. And I'm still getting the one-line login header myself. So I don't know what to tell you.-- Bob

I'm getting the intermittent 502 Bad Gateway errors again.
And by "intermittent" I mean "about every other page load".

As am I, but not as often as ECS.
On the positive side, that trouble I was having with the login/status/logout bar appears to have fixed itself.

Edit: Never mind - the problem is at my end. (If I don't do a hard-reset of my router every so often, it slows down, and Yuku detects the slow connection and presents a simpler version of the bar.) I just have to remember to reset the connection every week or so, until I replace the router...
