I don't think we could get any closer without actually bribing Jay. Tentative origin: "Sabre Moon" (haven't decided her real name yet) is the second cousin of Tsukino Usagi, and a second-generation Paragonite. When a Crey truck carrying several unfinished Sabre suits crashed during an altercation and was abandoned by all involved parties, she saw Destiny at work and dragooned her friends into making off with the suits before anyone else noticed. Between her amateur enchanting skills and future-Mercury's mechanical engineering, they were able to cobble together working techno-magic Sabre armors powered by the wearer's star seeds and amplifying any native magical talents. She, Mercury, and Mars then applied for admission to Riot Force and have been granted probationary membership by a bemused Sylia. So, the Sabre Senshi don't have to be exact analogues of their overseas counterparts. Unless it's funnier that way. Also, her shoulderkitty?
