Argurous Astraph's Power Source
Argurous Astraph's Power Source
#1
In the IST book, I see that AA's powers appear to be Seeder gene "eruption" at puberty; but I seem to recall something about a medallion here on the forums. Is this a case of a difference between the Warrior's World source material and the conversion of the original character to GURPS?

Curious, mostly because of an Infinite Worlds version of the character who becomes important in my timeline.

Thanks,

-Mike

Silverbolt, the original of Argurous Astraph, is IIRC a magic-based character. She was born with what looks like an ancient Greek silver coin embedded in the center of her chest (which for never-explored reasons was not surgically removed as a bizarre birth defect); Silverbolt's "chrome" flows out of the coin to coat her body when she wills it. I don't think this was ever carried over to AA, but I don't have a copy of IST handy at the moment to check.

From what I recall of my recent look through IST, it doesn't explicitly mention the source, just that she woke up one morning and could go all chrome-y. Although, considering that magic is a viable power source in IST, she may very well be magic.
