Bob memtioned that he'd like some more suggestions for songs that give a power to someone else when Doug plays them, after I mentioned Kate Bush's "Rubberband Girl" as a projected version of the Spinners' "Rubberband Man."
Well, I havene't gotten too far thinking of songs that always prject a specific ability, but I have a metasong, that would make the next one after that apply to the target of this one - Dio by Tenacious D. Even better, it's pretty short as songs go, at 1:41.

Here you go:Dio has rocked for a long, long time, Now it's time for him to pass the torch.
He has songs of wildebeests and angels,
He has soared on the wings of a demon.
It's time to pass the torch,
You're too old to rock, no more rockin' for you.
We're takin' you to a home,
But we will sing a song about you.
And we will make sure that you're very well taken care of.
You'll tell us secrets that you've learned. Raow!
Your sauce will mix with ours,
And we'll make a good goulash baby.
 Dio, time to go!
You must give your cape and scepter to me.
And a smaller one for KG.
 Go! Go! Dio! Dio!

I had no trouble reading them in Mozilla, either.Considering how many security holes it has, I'm surprised anyone's still using IE any more... Bob, I seriously suggest you look into switching browsers. (Both Firefox and Opera are free, now.)

I had an odd idea for the Sailor Moon Step and I thought I'd ask folks for a little help. I thought about Doug loaning Usagi the powers of the other Inners so she could get a first-hand idea of what they're like so she can better make use of her forces. Now I've got two songs in mind already:"I'm So Hot For Her (And She's So Cold)" by The Rolling Stones, as noted elsewhere, will give a female of Doug's choice Ice powers. This should handle most of Mercury's schtick.
"Electric Youth" by Debbie Gibson could be used to grant lightning powers so Usagi could experience Jupiter's schtick.
But what could I use to let Doug loan her Fire (Mars) and Light/Metal (Venus)?

Well, Fire by Arthur Brown transferred with the ever-popular I'll Play for You or Dio seems like an obvious choice for fire, The Chain does the unbreakable golden chains shtick... I dunno about the laser blast or meteor shower lasers. I would also suggest developing the sonic attack Usagi seems to have in the first ep, where her hair arnaments amplify her whining to make the monster back off a minute - she's pretty much only got finishing blows when it comes to combat powers, so something that lets her nickle-and-dime without taking so much charge time (and presumably, energy) could be yhandy, espescially if it has a stagger/stun effect to give an opening for something more damaging. Of course, this would require Doug somehow learning of it, but I'm sure he'd see some possibilities in this undeveloped ability, given his intimate familiarity with how effective sonics can be. Pun intended ;?)
 - CD
Edit: Ooh, I like Kokuten's suggestion, too!
ETA2: Have you considered that... I'm not sure if it's called She's Got It or just Venus by Bannanarama might specifically give a targeted female the Sailor Venus power set?
ETA3: Maybe it would be a simalcra song instead, though... I suppose it depends on whether you want a Minako sim at some later point, and if you can find a better idea for Sailor Venus power-mimicryThat which does not kill us... has made its last mistake.

One song that comes to mind off the top of my head to replicate Sailor Mars' power (with a possible side effect of increase sex appeal) is She's So Hot by Eric Heatherly
Well she doesn't warm up 'til the sun goes down Struts her stuff out on the town
She's got legs for a country mile
And those pouty lips make a dead man smile
 (Chorus
Yeah, She's so hot, Born on Sunday
Doctor said you can bet your money
This girl ain't gonna be no Goldilocks
Yeah well She's so Hot tell you what
A ball of fire that you can't stop
I need some H2O for the heat stroke that I got
She's so Hot, She's so hot, she's so hot, she's so hot
She's like Catwoman, she likes to play rough
She'll melt you down, she'll burn you up
She got the mercury risin', must be 103
 To survive this climate
Somebody get me some water please
 (repeat Chorus Twice)
She's so Hot, She's so hot

I'll probably have to come up with songs that us 'I'll Play for You' to workFire? The one that comes readily to my mind is Man in Motion aka St. Elmo's Fire(Themesong from Chariot's of Fire) of course 'Red Hot' by Debbie Gibson is another choice.

Water powers? Orionco Flow by Enya As has been shown with 'Take On Me', sometimes the video takes precedence over the lyrics. Considering that the video shows a sailing ship and the ocean waves, along with the very few English words in the song refer to water and sailing.
Light Powers: Sunshine Lady by Donnie Osmond. This one could probably get way without the use of 'I'll Play for You'. It was on a record that came out when the Donie and Marie TV show was playing.

This reminds me... is the SM step going to be the first one that Doug's aware he's transfictional? Not so much an after-the-fact like the Kodocha Step, but while he's there....I really need to re-read DWII for Lisa's explanation of Sailor Loon to Doug.
Another Ice song, if you don't mind extraneous broccoli, is Dana Carvey's singer-songwriter parody that goes a little something like this:
 She's cold as ice . . .
 Paradise . . .
 The lady I know...
 If I didn't know her . . .
 She'd be the lady I . . . didn't know...
 She went down town . . . to buy some. . . broccoli . . .
 And now . . .
 She's chopping broccoli
 She's chopping broccoli
 She's chopping broccoli
 She's chopping broccoli-i-i-i-i
 She's chopping broccoli
 She's chopping broccoli
 etc.
