Not a power, but an interesting song.
Not a power, but an interesting song.

A Loon
Some store I'm not going back there any more
Wandered in don't think I'll do that again
No I don't think I'll do that again.
I swear you look at me cross-eyed
And I don't know what to do
No I don't know what to do crazy loon.
There's a room in his pallet
There's a pillow for his head
Sees an offshoot in his bottle
When he wants to see me dead
Heirlooms a loon.
Never thought I'd see that silly grin
Never thought I'd see that fool again
Never thought I'd like that lunatic.
Nothing left to dance around
What a hero
What a black and blue bird
What a loon a loon
What a loon a loon.
Found it when I was searching around on Leo's Lyrics. I thought it was kind of cool. I haven't been able to listen to it yet, though. Can't find it anywhere!

I especially like that last verse/chorus/stanza/thing. Very appropriate.
I'm with you -- I want to hear this.

Well, I -do- have a power song in mind:
Meat Loaf - Everything Louder than Everything Else
AKA, the song that Shadowalker absolutely -hates-. It gives Doug the ability to amplify and direct any sound of his choosing, but it -also- has a jamming effect on her 'vision'.
Blessed be.

"Yes, and it was glorious."

BTW, Googling on this turns up oodles of hits. One of them, at least, must have a soundfile. If I get the time tonight, I'll be doing some browsing...

I'm going to have to tell Peggy about that one. I like the idea...

I Googled it, but all I found was a 30 second clip. Anyway, it's here:

Good luck, it's a jungle out there.--------------------------

Here's another one... I don't know if this would do anything, but I have listened to it and kinda like it.
More searching for lyrics. My brain must be looking for these subconsciously or something...
Average White Band- Queen of My Soul
I've loved you for as long as I remember
And I know I'll love you all of my life
I'll try to stay with you
Oh, yes, I'll try
'Cause you got the power to satisfy me
But there's always something new about you out of reach, oh
CHORUS:
Music, sweet music
You're the queen of my soul, oh
Music, sweet music
You're the queen of my soul
Ah, you're a lady, you're my world
Come on and speak to me
Ah, you gotta help me now
To find the right key
Major to minor
Keep it in step
Let me hear, you got to teach me
Your sweet harmony, oh
CHORUS
All over the world there are so many you have gifted
And they give me inspiration every day
You're my way of life, yeah, oh
I know that we will always stay together
And I will love you strong
'Cause you've got me flyin'
On the wings of a song, hey
Look on the floor now, take me higher
Give it to me one more time and let me pass it on, oh
CHORUS
Music (Whoa!), sweet music
You're the queen of my soul
Woo-ooh!
CHORUS x 4--------------------------
