...that there was a SF novel by the title "Drunkard's Walk"?
It was written by Frederik Pohl, and published in 1960- that's all I know about this.
I found this out on Wikipedia, when I was looking to see whether or not anybody had put Doug up on their site. (By the way, the answer is no.)Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines...

To add to the weirdness, the book, seen here,

has the same cover art as _Ender's Game_, and is written by a Hugo/Nebula winner (like Orson S. Card).

Oh, certainly. The term is from mathematics, and Pohl used it for much the same reason I did.
