I'm a devout follower of Girl Genius . And ever since, not quite a month ago, we saw Agatha Heterodyne's reaction to trying coffee for the first time ("hyper" would be far too mild a description), one thought has been percolating through my brain:
Somehow -- somehow -- Agatha and Skuld have got to meet. Not to mention Agatha and Kohran, Agatha and ... well, I'm sure you get the idea.
Yes, I used the word "percolating" with malice aforethought. Live with it.
Edit: Added link, and corrected my estimate of how long ago it was.

I actually posted a way for that to happen in the Utena step a while ago in the Everybodys Favorite Game section of the forum. I still think that dropping even an unawakened Need into Utena's hands during the fight with Akio would be hilarious. ![[Image: devil.gif]](http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/devil.gif)

"What would you do to see her again?"Nemuro looked on each of the assembled in turn.
 "Would you risk your life?"
 Miki nodded. "And more."
"Would you give up your dreams?"
 "I already have," Saionji countered.
"Would you endanger your immortal soul?"
 "I would," Juri stated.
"Would you brave the perilous offramps of World's End?"
"All this and more," Anthy replied, "even if for just one moment with her."
"Then it seems you have no choice," the undead professor mused, "but to revolutionize the world. But you will need a driver who knows those uncharted motorways.
"Fortunately, we have one ready to hand."
With a measured tread, Kiryuu Touga descended the stairs, a wicked grin on his face. "So, who calls shotgun?"

The five jounin teachers of the Hanging Village of the Rose,
Ohtori Akio, Barakage of the Village,
And Tenjou Utena, a normal schoolgirl- at least, until she finds out that the strange headband with the cool rose motif that her prince left her lets her into an entirely different kind of occupation....

With the part of Dios/Prince being played by a certain nine-tailed fox?I suppose kitsune *are* known for shapeshifting... and you *know* that Sasuke has no choice but to revolutionize the world.
Working Anthy in would be hard. There really *isn't* anyone who fits her part in the myth all that well... so if we can't find anyone who'll actually fit, let's not bother. The role of the Lynchpin To All Things who must ever be obedient to the will of he current champion? Orochimaru

No, no, no- this isn't Konoha, and Utena isn't Naruto... although one of the bijuu might make a good Power to Revolutionize the World.
I like that- winning the tournament-equivalent makes you a Jinchuuriki, using (what else) the Rose Seal to imprison the beast. Maybe the Barakage is supposed to hold the bijuu, Dios was injured, and it had to be moved to Anthy? Then, there's a series of ninja Duels to see who gets to be the Godaime Barakage, which Akio- sort of a Kage-regent- is manipulating to his own ends.
Making a fusion would be interesting, but I'm just talking about putting SKU in the Narutoverse. The fun begins when the Rose-nin, Leaf-nin, Sound-nin, and Akatsuki meet up...

Now, there are other entertaining fusion possibilities, with a variety of storylines, using the local kitsune as the fusion point.Yu Yu Hakusho: Uzumaki Yusuke, known for his reckless and self-sacrificing tactics, who sometimes, when everything at its worst, loses control to the beast that lurks inside him, significantly increases his bishonen factor, and begins chastising his enemies with a rose whip.
Inu-Yasha: a lot like normal Inu-Yasha, actually, except that when he loses control to his demon half, instead of sprouting blue markings and becoming a demonic engine of destruction, he just turns into Shippo.
