I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but there's something in A Matter of Force that's starting to make it lose its appeal for me. It actually started several chapters back, but I've been slogging through since then to try and figure out what it is, and to see if it goes away...-- Bob

Izzit fandom creep? That is, the story turning from, say, a interesting take on a Sailor Moon SI to "Spider-man Gary Stu with supporting cast with Japanese Names?"

Carrotglace has no idea how to end a story. Every single one of his stories just seems to ramble on and on with no end in sight. The plot eventually becomes "I just watched Star Wars! I'll add a Star Wars ripoff! I just watched Men In Black! I'll do that, too!" or variations on the same.
This is fun and exciting at first. The story has a freshness and enthusiasm to it for the first couple of chapters. Eventually it gets bogged down with too much baggage. Frankly, I'm more interested when I see that he's started a new story then continuing an old one. ----------------- Epsilon There are some exceptions to the above, of course.

After a one year wait the On A Clear Day You Can See Forever site has updated to indicate that there is not yet an update and probably won't be one until at least Christmas. When you recall that the previous update was also an indication that there were no updates (and that that update was made after about five months without an update) and you'll find that it has been a LONG wait for interested readers (But still not as long a wait as the one for the last chapter of Hearts of Ice by Krista Perry).
