I think your looking for "Seven Days" by Steve "Komodo" T.

It was on the FFML and I Kept a copy of the seven chapter fanfic on my fanfic DVD, but the writer didn' include his Email address or a second location
within the fanfic so I don't have those.

All I can tell you about when it was written is that it was finished before march 30 of 2003, you can probably find it in a FFML archive.
