Guardians of the Galaxy - EPIC!
Guardians of the Galaxy - EPIC!

Saw it yesterday!
It's the most fun movie so far this year! It's got action, comedy, a little bit of pathos (but not too much!), stunning effects, likable characters... A music AND design sense that I swear to god looks like Chris Foss summed up ALL his work and make one gigantic moving musical tapestry of awesometacular... STUFF... SO MUCH WIN AND AWESOME!!! I am seriously considering going to see it AGAIN before the weekend is out AND I NEVER EVER DO THAT!!!!Here's the last trailer they released - NOW GO SEE IT NAO!!!

Oh and BTW - almost doesn't need to be said - It IS Marvel. So stay past the credits! Especially THIS TIME! I'm not kidding, I literally had a "David Tennant 10th Doctor" Moment with the Post Credits Stinger -
"...what...
...What?
...WHAT?!?!"
Then... slowly grinning like a MANIAC....
"Marvel... you magnificent SLY SONS OF BITCHES!!!!" ^_^

Saw it at an advance screening on Friday. It's in my top 3 Marvel movies, and might get the top slot based off a rewatch when it launches properly here later this week.

I'm planning on seeing it Monday morning after my appointment. Would love to see it sooner....

And yes, While I did get spoiled on the end scene (And shall refrain from saying it here), STAY AFTER THE CREDITS!!!

It is....just...yes...just stay....

I liked it, but thought it was only moderately good. I definitely thought it was better than Iron Man III and Thor II (which were good, but not great), but didn't feel it was a top tier Marvel movie. Some of the blatant cliché moments were a little too blatantly cliché. I did like the high quality CGI on Rocket Raccoon; no Gumby Hulk CGI here. My grade: 7.5/10.

I absolutely loved this movie from beginning to end....

But I admit that the after-credits scene left me going "...okay then."

Not that I don't get what they were going for, but I honestly would've preferred an Avengers 2 teaser or something over that particular scene. I dunno. But, as noted, the movie itself was awesome enough I didn't mind it being a little lackluster after the film.
