I sent my usual "answer this to prove you're not a spammer" email to take care of the next line of defense after the antispammer tools built into the registration system (which are far more than my idiosyncratic security questions). If it is in fact him, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. It's not like I can't kick him if he turns out to be toxic.
