Does Doug call his charge Sana-sama?
Blessed be. -n =========== =============================================== "V, did you do something foolish?" "Yes, and it was glorious." 
Probably not, although I don't have anything specified in my notes. Since everyone else calls her "Sana-chan" from Mama on down to Hayama (and in fact, it's sort of the national nickname for her), I don't see that Doug will feel the need to be any different.

I ask because, to the english-speaking ear, it's sort of by way of being a pun.

Yes, I had noticed, but I don't know if Doug would want to drop into that level of formality (with its attendant implications). At least more than once...
