Need a name for a fictional cake shop
Need a name for a fictional cake shop
#1
Question
Preferably a punny name. Definitely a short name.

I had come up with "Just Desserts"... but today I learned that that's a real cake bakery in San Francisco. It's almost as old as I am. So... no good for the story.

Any ideas for a replacement?

Batter Up!
Cake Me Out to the Ball Game
Cake R Square (as in, "Don't be silly pi r round. Cake r square!")
Copp & Patti's Cake Shop (if owner name(s) are not otherwise specified)(because cupcakes and playing patty-cake)
Moon Power Cake Up!
Stay Frosty
(other puns based on icing or frosting)
Angel & Devil's Kiss (particulalry if something BGC adjacent is involved)
Something something red velvet?
Marble-related puns
Cake a Break
Cake-a-Doodle! (with roosster logo and/pr specialty in creating decorated cakes based on customer or owner sketches)

Hm. Let's see.

Batter Late Than Never
The Rolling Scones (which is probably better for a generalized bakery)
Flour Power
Whisk Takers
Cake My Day
Bake It Happen

Not that it really meets your requirements, but our local bakery, called "L'Affaire", was replaced for a year by a cake shop that called itself "CakeLab". (They were apparently horrible -- they went out of business and L'Affaire reopened in the same location a couple months ago.)

At this point, I realize I should have mentioned whose cake shop it is.

On the list now, but I don't know whether I want a bilingual name. Thanks.

Right group, wrong Sailor... and she isn't likely to want to reveal her ID that way.

After lying down last night I came up with the idea of doing something with "muffin" and "nuffin (nothing)" or "moving" but didn't get anything particularly good. "Pastry" is another possibility but I could get from that is "Pastries and a G String" so unless there's a stripper and/or a cellist in residence that probably won't do.
