Y'know, this is one proposal where I would want them to include the Lunar surface.

Isn't at least the Apollo 11 site a UNESCO World Heritage Site? If not, it should be.
It might be, but that doesn't rule out also making it a National Park.

Some quick poking around the UNESCO website seems to say that it isn't. It also looks like only countries get to do the actual nominations, so time to write to the various elected officials and get them to do it.
Texas' congress rep is a Democrat?! Wow, that's far stranger than any crazy moon-park plan!
