Weird Time Stamps
04-04-2006, 06:32 AM
I've been getting weird post times all day. Sometimes the post times are only two hours ahead, instead of the normal three I usually get living on the Left Coast. Is anybody else having this?---------------

Side effect of Daylight Savings Time, maybe? I haven't noticed any such thing, but then I haven't been looking at my timestamps. I'll check this message and the last couple I've left.
(Oh, and I think you meant to put this thread over in Forums, so I'll move it.)

Okay, the timestamp on the above message is an hour before the actual local time here. I'll nip over to the board configuration and see if I need to toggle something. Or maybe ezBoard's systems are not yet set to Daylight time.

Okay, that was weird. For some reason the board configuration had forgotten that I was in the Eastern time zone and just had a flat -5 offset from GMT. I've fixed that. This post should appear with a stamp somewhere around 7:30 AM now.

Gah. I'm going to have to tell it we're on central time or something.

Actually Atlantic Time (head east, not west). This should look right now.
