  Justice: Rikti style

Inspired by Skye Valentine's Longbow Rikti and last night's discussion, here's rad/rad corruptor Guardian Sel'Tar.

Yeah, the Enforcer armor pieces really seal the deal.
Anyone want to start up a Rikti/Lost villain group on Justice? ^.^

Lots of love here.
Defiance 2.5 kicks in for Blasters, which makes it kinda like Fury: Each attack gives a 7.5 second damage boost. Also, Blasters can fire off their Tier 1 and 2 powers even while mezzed.
The Sweet Enforcer and Jester sets, as well as Lock and Dagger patterns for tights.
And the part that's making me squee: Accolades now no longer grey out when you exemp below the level you got them. [Image: happy.gif]

What happens when you take three decades worth of Hollywood sci-fi blockbusters, throw 'em into a blender and hit "frappe"?
Well, if you're lucky, it'll be something like this:

Invasion Theatrical Trailer
Invasion Part 1
Invasion Part 2
Invasion Part 3---

  Looking for an HP fic
Posted by: katreus - 12-11-2007, 04:20 AM - Forum: Other People's Fanfiction - No Replies

I can't recall off the top of my head where I saw it before (I -think- it's one of the main HP sites that's not FF.net, but I can't even recall those atm), but it's a completed fic with an OC Muggle protagonist who gets sorted into Hufflepuff. I think I also recall that he had to work for a sister of Minerva's to help pay for his education and there might have been the word toast somewhere in the title.
Thanks in advance.--

  Seizure of computers
Posted by: TheTwisted1 - 12-11-2007, 01:24 AM - Forum: Politics and Other Fun - Replies (1)

According to articles here and here, proposed new copyright legislation could allow the Justice Department to seize and auction off any computer or hardware "facilitating" a copyright violation without the owner needing to be convicted of any crime. From the first article:

Quote:
* Any computer or network hardware used to "facilitate" a copyright crime could be seized by the Justice Department and auctioned off. The proceeds would be funneled to the agency's budget. The process is called civil asset forfeiture, and typically the owner does not need to be found guilty of a crime for his property to be taken.
I find this, particularly on the tail of the $220,000 verdict in favor of the RIAA, quite worrying.
