My Apartment Manager is not a Fanfic Archive
My Apartment Manager is not a Fanfic Archive

As of tonight, the KanriKyara/ManaChara project now has a presence on Archive of Our Own. We're still going to post our work here, but eventually everything will also be posted on AO3 as well. We're only posting one chapter a week or so there, so as long as we keep writing at a reasonable pace, the Stories subforum should always stay ahead of it.

A quick grep of the Anime & Manga category indicates that you've posted AO3's first-ever Risky Safety fic. I think congratulations are in order. (Conga rats dance through the room.)

Apparently I also wrote the first Casey and Andy fic on AO3, and it’s in the same story. Both of those were my sections; I’m not sure what that says about my taste.

Now you just need to write Risky/Andy and Casey and Safety. <grin>

Quote:We're only posting one chapter a week or so there

I lied. We posted two chapters tonight, because the second one was rather short.

So, I'll be posting Moving Days, Part 1 to AO3 tonight, and given that it's the first story (in internal chronological order) with posts from the managers' board in it, I thought I could tweak the looks of that section a bit to both set it off better and also improve the verisimilitude. This is what I came up with, and I'm hoping that maybe we can standardize on the look for future stuff.

(And yeah, it draws a little on both PHO from Worm and here.)

I don't think anyone will have any problems with it, but if you do, let me know.

I just noticed, Adrift in Time is mistakenly tagged with Starlight Express instead of Galaxy Express 999. While I do shout out to the former, the crossover is definitely the latter, inheriting the explicit reference from Aria.

No, that's not a mistake, unless it was an error during writing. The train run by Chiyo-Chichi on which Maya and Tadakichi-san arrive in the middle-late part of the story is explicitly identified in-story as the Starlight Express.

I just realized we just passed the first anniversary of our AO3 presence a few days ago... A year with a story or chapter posted every week without fail (well, except for a 2-week break during the holidays). Here's hoping we can keep it up for another year!

And apparently Time Away is the first Mahoromatic story on AO3 that uses more than just Mahoro. We're trailblazers...

Amazingly, we're not the first to post fanfic for The Mad Scientists' Club. We are the second, though.

Surely there were some other fanfics for The Mad Scientists' Club before "The OSI and an Inventor" (which is also fanfic for the Alvin Fernald series).

As of this date, there are exactly three fics on AO3 for the tag "The Mad Scientists' Club Series - Bertrand R. Brinley": our Everyone's Still a Critic, and Just About Time and Time Is Not Linear, both by "acs". In none of them are the club and its members the primary/sole focus of the story. And acs's stories are both part of a larger series, so I'm counting them as a single work. So yeah, we're second.
