Agreed. *spoiler villain* was VERY well done. And the late Heath Ledger as the Joker was AMAZING.
I adored the "reverse shout-oust" to scenes from the 1989 Batman movie.

I thought it was well done if depressing. I do think the two ferries subplot was pretty cool and some of the Joker's plots were pretty well planned (which,
oddly enough, did seem to survive contact with the enemy). The hope at the end... well, it is a hope but it's sort of like then I will have shade because
there are so many arrows in the air hope. Some really hard choices made by people. Pretty good movie. I liked it although unlike my friend, who loves Batman, I
won't shell out another 10 bucks to re-watch it in IMAX.

Like Logan, I saw it friday and I too, still dont quite know what to think. there was just SO much. About the only thing I didnt agree with was that apparently
there is still a bit of killing off people you'd think you'd want to have around later.

DAMN YOU HEATH!!! WE NEED YOU FOR THE SEQUELS!!!! I have to say that your one of the first people I've seen who really GETS that clown...

There are a lot of people saying that Heath Ledger did the _perfect_ Joker.
they're vastly underestimating the truth of the matter.
In_Credible_.
I have 2 minor nits, and those are VERY minor.. Highlight for spoilers.
Two-Face died - this seemed like a waste of a good character. Also, Harvey was a
little more messed up than I'd ever pictured him. Incredible makeup/SFX job, sure, but.. blech. Secondly, and this is a trivial nit - Batman rasped WAY
too hard at times.

Saw it on Saturday. I'm impressed. It was very, very good.
Two nits:
1. The Batbike? Looked like it was held together by happy thoughts. It needed some weight to that frame to go with those tires.
2. Not. Enough. Two-Face. (Two-Face is my favorite Bat villain.)

Indeed.
Response to spoiler: Harvey wasn't expecting the fall and, despite his madness, was only a normal man.
Plus, he was a victim of the plot. Batman could be said to be physically conditioned to take damage and was wearing armor. Also, he didn't so much fall as
drop; he was prepared for the impact. Or better prepared than someone shoved off the edge the way that Harvey was.

I saw it today and really liked some of the things they did (Joker was cool).
other things (batman must sound like has been gargling with gravel) I didn't like so much.
But definitely a movie to see.

Saw it, loved it.
Sure he can fall. He is Splat-man!
While all the primaries were very good; I was impressed by Eric Roberts in the minor role of the gangster. Great actor when he is kept on a tight leash.
Spoilerage
I don't think you can count Harvey as Dent as a doornail. Chances are he is waking up in Arkham for a nice long
gibber and an eventual return.

Just saw it last night. Yow. That's one densely packed movie. And could the metaphor for post-9/11 America be a little more obvious?
The only downside for me was that some treacherous part of my mind couldn't help thinking, "Damn! If only Doug were there!" Which was rather
distracting. (And no, I'm not going to write it. Maybe a version with the crew from "Girls, Girls, Girls", but not Doug.)
In any case, awesome and disturbing both.
