I am going to also recommend Castle Terribel. I archive splurged and have been laughing hilariously.
As a bonus, it has a HUGE archive. I am not even done with it up to current yet despite reading it quite frequently over the last few days.
I'll second it as well, fished the archive last night. It is quite good, though I did have trouble keeping the secondary characters straight.

A Naruto crack fic that I have been enjoying and has been updating frequently. Uchibi Sasuke. The Uchiha masacre spared not only Sasuke, but also all the children younger than him, and now he's stuck taking care of them all. The author's EVA AU fics (usually revolving around Tabris) are also worth a look.

Ricochet is pretty awesome. I was willing to give the author the benefit of the doubt on the AU question at first, and that seems to be shaping up in interesting ways.
Hey Classic, could you possibly include links to the fics? I tend to browse this thread on my phone, and without a link, it's a pain in the ass to track the fics down.
Sorry, I only have access via PSP, which is lacking in copy paste functionality, and the story id is about the limit of my memory. I usually just go to any ffn link or bookmark, then manually edit the url. Sirrocco just posted a link in ROFLNyao for this one, at least.

I've been debating whether or not to rec this - Darkish HP AU Harry/Fleur - but I keep finding myself checking it for a new chapter so:
When a Veela Cries Fair warnings: Not a soulbond/sex fic (but still adult) , writing is a little rocky at first but rapidly improves, mass canon character death - V uses his brain, pre-recruits in wizard prisons and launches an all out assault the minute he gets out of the cauldron - so mileage may vary. The author also has a small site where he's posted up bio's and pictures of Real Life models/places for 'characters and locations' in the story. Best interpretations for Jean, Fleur, Gabrielle and Apolline Delacour I've seen. Adds an interesting dimension to the story.
Got a few new one here so..
First, Maileesaya has started two new Gundam Seed fanfics, one of them the third part of her series: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Divinity Mobile Suit Gundam Eternity (about this one, it's take a large source of inspiration from the Ace Combat games. Then, Wavehawk00 give us a tale of a Kyuubey that finally meets its match. It's Kyuubey's Turn I grinned at then end, knowing about the series in question. I strongly recommend it, even if it isn't fiction, and is thus outside of the scope of this thread. That Shuten Doji translation she links to is something that I read a while back, and is also fairly decent. Reacting to today's Embers update. 1. Ha. I thought so. Foreshadowing all over the place. 2. Is it really the three week point? I guess it could be, but I must be in worse shape than I thought, to have lost track of that. 3. Now that this and that are confirmed, there are some more possibilities. The two are also very thematically suited to Aang. 4. This conversation covers some things that probably needed to be said for various reasons. I look forward to further developments of the story, and I think we are going to see more of Aang's good face soon.
