First (and, as of this posting, only) comment on this image: "When you say that strange women passing out swords from a pond is in fact, a perfect basis for government." EDIT: Which reminds me that if we ever do "Son of the Bride of Everyone's a Critic", she has to watch that movie.

Official (it's from a four-page story that ran in Comp Ace, written by by the writer of Lyrical Nanoha) but not canon.

Meet Cinnamon. She's an original character based on a particular work that we've included in the setting but haven't presented in any of the published stories yet.

She's shown here as being substantially more-realistically-proportioned than her canon comrades, but that's what one gets when one uses an AI that doesn't have an "SD manga" setting.

Anyone want to guess which story serves as her inspiration? (Her name is a hint; it follows the theme naming of half of the characters in that work.)

My knowledge of anine has been pretty spotty since, well, 2000, so my first though (fully aware it's almost certainly wrong) was Strawberry Shortcake.

Interestingly enough, that might be the closest western cartoon series to the actual manga/anime.

I have reason to collect pastry recipes that use both cherries and cinnamon. ...

And another hint: think shojo, not shonen.
