I think both the Super Laser and the Cosmic String Dispenser violate several, important, laws of Handwavium. Just like why I never added "Universal Remote" to the list. A Stop-That watch is dangerous enough!

Don't forget - this is a silly thread. (Call it "Camelot" if you wish.) We can trim out the genre-busting stuff if we make this canon...

When I appended the term, "Otherwise harmless" to that, I guess I should have elaborated. The only thing 'super' about is that it's a perfect laser - just not very powerful at all. The photons in the beam are all running perfectly parallel. You can beam a dot from Mercury to Pluto without any degradation. But all it would be is just a little green point of light, even at point-blank range. It won't even hurt a person's retina for some reason. :p

Ah, okay. To me, a "Superlaser" is the Death Star's main gun. I would have called it a Superlaser Pointer. So, it goes through the Death Star's behaviour, but only makes a pin-head sized dot a planet away.

It's great for getting that boggled expression, followed by the words, "You're kidding, right?"

That squeaky mallet wouldn't happen to belong to a certain red-eyed-blue-haired girl with a crazy grin, would it?
