Quote:Damn. I'd like to know... do you have any clues to give us?
It's occurred to me that a couple of Tom Petty songs fit Naruto well, Runnin' Down a Dream and I Won't Back Down. The music that started playing in my head for Genin Sakura vs. Hell Sakura, though, refuses identification.
Hm. Hell Sakura. I like that.
Quote:Well, I'm glad to hear -that-, although personally I don't think I've done anything terribly creative yet. -Different-, I'll grant you, but Neshan's backstory is blatantly ripped off from Craig Reed's Bubblegum Avatar stuff - and, if I can ever remember to ask permission, it might well be officially so - and there's at least one other 'teach Team 7' take in Naruto fandom.
You continue to present a unique take on the SI-from-the-beginning motif, and I'll be looking forward to more.
Anyway, I'm either going to force myself to finish the scenes I missed out of this or dive straight into the big fight at the start of Ch. 4, and either way it'll probably happen relatively soon, since that battle's been driving and gnawing to get out since before I even started this thing.
Oh, and music choices copy/pasted straight out of my arc notes (yes, I have a much too television-focused mind):
Neshan vs. The Devil in the Red Dress: Juno Reactor - Guilty
Sasuke's Battle Theme: Savatage - Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)
Sakura's Battle Theme: Runrig - Breaking the Chains
Naruto's Battle Theme: Niahm Parsons and the Loose Connections - Loosen Up
Hinata's Battle Theme: Nightwish - Moondance
Devil's Battle Theme: John Williams - Duel of the Fates
...N. doesn't have a theme because I've got no fucking clue for an instrumental that'd suit him.
Ja, -n

"Yes, and it was glorious."
