4) My thought on PHO segments in general:
4a) They work as a tool to explore how ordinary people see and are affected by the super-powered action and events. This is something I like to see explored in stories, and not just Worm stories.
4b) If you look at the original source material, they also tend to work better when there are things between the different thread segments, such as private chat conversations or the thoughts, reactions, or unrelated actions of the person reading the threads.
