I have posted in three different browsers and each appeared to lose the formatting and extra spaces in each browser.
I go back to the post in edit mode minutes or even days later and make no changes just look at the post via edit and it recovers my original formatting.
The only changes I've made lately is a forced switch to a satellite ISP two months ago.
