"A sight worth seeing" is what I'm thinking. My choices are the largest city in Canada on the Canada Day weekend (crowded, busier than usual, and such short notice that who knows whether a hotel room is available), someplace in the US (involves standing in line at Customs for a ridiculous amount of time), or a small town just up the road in September (can get there and back in the same day and still have time to take photos). I think this is a no-brainer for me.
