Nicely done, 1st chapter could be a shortfic on its own but wait, there's more!

I'm going to second this recommendation, with a qualifier - there are some definite grammar issues that some people may find distracting. However, the story does some things with the setting that I've never seen anyone else try, and follows through on them well.
