Thanks for looking at it Ops, I really appreciate the feedback. The build based on your Utena logic looks solid - very solid, in fact. It's just not the direction I'd be going in, I suspect. There's some things you have there that are good, but...
On the subject of regen rate versus pure recharge, I'm liable to err on the side of, well, the recharge.
Here's where I'm coming from. See, in a way, the pure recharge adds more global regen than regen set bonuses would...by getting Instant Healing and Dull Pain up way more often.
As for Midnight Grasp...with all the purples in, the character has massive global accuracy, so individual acc slotting in the powers is not that great a concern. But the purples, of course, won't be in for a very long time - obviously they'll be the last thing. But even then, generally speaking you don't need that much global acc.
With the enhancements as they are, and the fact the Focused Smite and Crushing Impact can be pure max-level frankenslotted enhancements since they aren't contributing bonuses...the power will be past or close enough to the ED line anyway, on damage.
Given this, there's better milage in using a proc - especially one like Mako's or Cloud Senses with a high 20% trigger rate. The times it does go off will more than make up for the slight percentage dropoff in pure damage numbers.
