If I had known that about you up front in this thread, I wouldn't have even bothered to post my response. However, I would recommend therapy (if you haven't already had it) to avoid sliding past the black and white "if you support someone who's done it, I can't be your friend" with it through to "if you're not in other's faces about every single bullying incident, then I can't be your friend". Because you're going to leave a large trail of broken relationships behind you whereever you go when you get to that point.
