A little New (Old?) Wave
Re: A little New (Old?) Wave
#4
"Psi Power" by, you guessed, Hawkwind.
"...
I can read your mind like a magazine

I know all the secrets that you want to keep
..."
Mind you, if he does use this, Doug could probably get away without the lead-lined room to keep him sane...
Michael Moorcock was associated with Hawkwind for quite a bit, and in the earlier days had his own band, "Deep Fix", and the "Chronicles of the Black Sword" tour _might_ have had something to do with him!
[grin]
And for those who might be interested:

Looks like they have some sort of web ring as well, maybe.

Ah. Hook. Mind a bit flakey this Saturday evening. Sorry.
Mike Moorcock was noted for having started the "New Wave" in SF, in the 1970s (I think), introducing "soft" sciences, like sociology and psychology. I think it can be a bad idea calling something "new"...
Particularly 25+ years later...
*Bad, very bad. Two edits to just get this looking vaguely right [shakes head] *
